SPONSORS
We are looking for both financial and product sponsorships for our team and for our vehicle. Benifits of sponsorship include:
-Your company or organization's name and logo placed in highly visible
areas on the truck, driver's suit, crew apparel, and support vehicles
-Access to the truck for special events (i.e. open houses, etc)
-All sponsors will be entered into a raffle for tickets to the 2008 Indianapolis 500
-Your company logo and a link to your company's home page on our website
-Mention of your company in interviews with the media, including
"Speedway Illustrated" magazine, "whowon.com," and "Hot Cars" magazine,
all of which have noticed our project.
-The race truck and all the support vehicles, all of which will be
carrying sponsor logos, will travel along many major interstate
highways and through numerous major cities on the way from
Massachusetts to the Baja peninsula, allowing your logo to be seen by
MILLIONS of motorists.
-The race truck, a street legal vehicle, will be regularly driven to
high visibility events and occasions, including weekly visits to
Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, CT. It will also travel
with both Venture Crew 35 and it's parent organization, Troop 35 on
regional and interstate trips, including a planned 2009 trip of over
5,000 miles.

If a Venture Crew is going to do something as outlandish and unique as the Baja 1000, it would only make sense that their fundraisers would be unique as well. Therefore we are happy to announce our latest fundraiser.
CELLULAR HOCKEY
Hate your (or someone else's) cell phone, pager, digital camera, or mp3 player? this is your chance to take revenge upon the demonic devices that have taken over our lives. Our first ever cell phone hockey tournament will pit 3 on 3 teams against eachother and against these joyous little gadgets. Entry cost will be $7 or a "puck" for an individual, $15 or two "pucks" for a 3-player team. Prize is to be decided, but expect something big. Exact date and venue are to be decided as well, likely in the April-May range.
